Iranian Human Rights Campaign:  We have worked with Southern Oregon University’s United Nations Club to promote and protect the human rights of all Iranians.  Our actions have included presentations by Iranian student organizer, Reza Mohajarinejad, films and panel discussions about the persecution of the Baha’i and Student Organizers working for human rights in Iran, letter writing campaigns for the release of Prisoners of Conscience in Iran, and radio and TV news program interviews.

Persia’s human rights thoughts go back thousands of years.  Indeed, the words of Persian Poet Sa’di decorate Hall of Nations at the United Nations headquarters:

Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.
If one member is afflicted with pain,
Other members uneasy will remain.
