Learn about how our local police address immigration issues in our Rogue Valley.  June 26 (Tuesday)  Immigration and Local Law Enforcement – Issues and Answers A Panel Presentation sponsored by the Rogue Valley Inter-faith Immigration Coalition  6:30-8:00PM Unitarian Church, Ashland (87 4th ST)Tuesday June 26 6:30-8pm  Free and open to the public

Immigration is a highly complex moral, social, and political issue.   A panel of presenters including Sarah Schendel (immigration attorney), Terry Holderness (Chief of Police, Ashland Police Dept) Diana Banda, (Immigrant Youth Alliance) and Dave Lefkowitz (Southern Oregon Amnesty International) will sit on a panel to provide their perspective, tell their stories, and answer our questions.  Come learn more about life as a person raised in the US without legal residency, the complexities of law enforcement, and the impact of the national “Secure Communities” program.
